A 15 year old boy, Abdulla Eman from Male' said in an exclusive interview that he was hit in the head with a baton a scratched in the face by Riot Police because they thought he was also calling for the resignation of Gayyoom.
The boy was arrested and taken to the police. A statement from his parents was taken and he was later released. He said that it is quite painful in the back of his head, where the bruise is quite visible.
