MDP supporters celebrate party success

Over a thousand MDP members including the leadership attended a party organised by Ismail (Tedry's Father) to celebrate party success especially the achievements of the last few weeks. The party congress held earlier this month elected party leadership and yesterday its first ever shadow cabinet was announced.

The mood in Maldives now is quite euphoric as MDP is gaining more and more support. MDP now has well over 40,000 members representing nearly 1/3 of the voting population of the Maldives.
