accommodate and publish the numerous political cartoons,
digital manipulations and other satirical art pieces our
contributors kept sending to us requesting to be published.
Upon initial perusal of this page, some readers might be a
bit taken aback by the crude nature of some of the contents
on this page. But rest assured the content in this page is
more than meets the eye. These manipulations, jokes and more
reflect the anger and hatred of a people that has been just
allowed to speak their mind after 27 years of oppression
(who are we stop them from expressing themselves?). It is
not a wonder nor a miracle that most contributors choose to
make fun and ridicule the incumbent President Gayyoom, his
corrupt family and his cronies. Almost all pieces are
